Change of Name, Change of Focus

Hi there!

I'm revisiting the idea of actually trying to do something with this thing, so I wanted a fresh start, which means a fresh name. The name "Macarons and Miscellany" is a little bit inspired by one of my favorite blogs, Cupcakes and Cashmere. But also, it just represents me. Macarons are my favorite thing, so there's that little tidbit. Miscellany, by definition, means a little bit of everything. That's what I want this blog to be: a representation of who I am. I am a little bit of everything - happy, sad, anxious, excited, hopeful, unsure.
And of course, alliteration!

I know there are so many hopefuls out there starting blogs, trying to "make it big" and fulfill their dreams. For me, I just want a place to share the things I love, a space that is my own. It also helps that work has been slow lately, so I need something to fill my days up a little more.

So then, here we are. The possibilities are endless...
